Job Details
Title: Technical Delivery Lead_.Net and Windows Server
Location: Hybrid, 2 day in office-Toronto, ON
Duration: 6 months with extension up to 3 years contract
Compensation: $80-$90/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical delivery of projects from initiation through deployment focusing on scope, scheduling, and execution.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including offshore developers, MSP partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the integration of third-party vendor platforms (e.g., DNM, Taner) into existing systems.
- Oversee submission intake modernization initiatives, including AI-enhanced email processing and automation workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans and timelines.
- Act as a technical point of contact ensuring developers are aligned and delivery remains on track.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other project leads to align on priorities.
- Facilitate checkpoints and delivery reviews as part of the automation lifecycle.
- Provide light project management and scheduling, particularly for smaller projects within the tech portfolio.
- Drive technical decision-making and delivery timelines, rather than core PM tasks.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8 10 years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical delivery roles.
- Prior hands-on experience as a developer or technical architect, with project management experience
- Proven experience leading technical projects and delivery notably with MS technologies (.NET, Windows Server).
- Experience working with vendor platform integrations.
- Familiarity with technical coordination and scheduling in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, offshore teams, and external vendors.
- Strong understanding of submission intake processes or other entrance-heavy workflows.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Insurance industry experience, particularly in commercial underwriting or operations.
- Exposure to AI-enabled automation workflows.
- Experience with name clearance systems or terminology.
- Background in Scrum Master or Agile Delivery roles.
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience managing mixed vendor/client project teams (MSPs).
- Prior experience transitioning from a Tech Lead to a Management role.
